Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge is a devoted mother to her three children and loves cooking with her children. However, in a rare insight into the family’s home life, the insider claimed eldest Prince George, seven, is more well-behaved than his two younger siblings, Charlotte, five, and Louis, two. While Kate will one day become Queen consort and is preparing to do so, the source also claimed she is completely focused on her family for now.

Not only is she completely focused on her family but her biggest fear is not being there for her children, despite her busy life as a senior royal.

The source told Us Weekly: “Family means everything to the mom of three, and one of her biggest worries about the future is not being there for George, Charlotte, and Louis.

“George is well-behaved.

“All the kids are, but Charlotte and Louis both have a cheeky streak.

“Louis is more like Charlotte in personality than George.”

When she does have time away from conducting royal duties, the source also confirmed Kate loves spending time cooking and working in the garden with her children.

It has also been noticed how much more independent and active Kate has become away from William.

This independence was illustrated by her latest ‘Hold Still’ projects which asked members of the public to send in pictures of themselves during the pandemic.

The project seeks to create a unique collective portrait of society across the country.

As the source stated, Kate has become more present on social media and more comfortable giving TV interviews.

They said: “She’s also been very present on social media and has gotten comfortable doing TV interviews and virtual chats.

“She’s keen to continue that in the future as well.

“It used to be that you’d never see Kate at an event without William, but now she’s attending many official functions on her own now, a sign that she’s ready to be queen.”

They added: “Kate may change some of the outdated royal rules when she becomes Queen consort.”

However, Kate and William may have to wait sometime before they make it to throne.

Although Prince Charles is second in line to the throne, senior aides have told the Daily Express any plans for Her Majesty to step down will not be happening any time soon.

The Government has outlined plans to celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee, which will include an extra bank holiday.

One adviser said: “We’ve always pointed people to the declaration she made to serve the country for all of her life.”

A second aide added: “There are no plans for a Regency.

“There are no discussions that I am aware of relating to a Regency.

“It’s entirely up to the Queen how she asks other members of the family to support her in her work.”
