Prince William revealed on social media he has been vaccinated against coronavirus. The Duke of Cambridge published a post on the official Instagram and Twitter accounts he shares with Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.

His message read: “On Tuesday I received my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

“To all those working on the vaccine rollout – thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do.”

The post also included a picture of the Duke of Cambridge wearing a face mask and with a sleeve rolled up as he receives the jab.

The decision to be depicted while receiving the vaccine marks a royal first, as all the other members of the British Royal Family did not share a snap of themselves being administrated the vaccine.
