Royal experts have claimed Beatrice and Edoardo could have a second wedding this year, after their nuptials were delayed and ultimately restricted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Meadhbh McGrath, co-host of the HeirHeads podcast, suggested the Princess could show off her original wedding dress for the second wedding.
She said: “We had heard that Beatrice and Edo would have a second ceremony where she could wear her original dress which she had planned for the wedding.
“I would really like to see the dress.”
Beatrice was unable to use her original wedding dress, and instead used one of the Queen’s for the ceremony.
Marlene Koenig, a royal commentator, told Express.co.uk she believes Beatrice’s real wedding gown could have been “not finished” and “got stuck at designers” because of Covid.
Ms Koeing said: “It’s just a thought but her real wedding gown was not finished and got stuck at the designers because of Covid she could no longer work on it.
“That’s why her grandmother gave her this lovely gown and they were able to refashion it.”
