The royal is dedicated to her charity work and despite a recent stint in hospital took to Instagram to share some important news. She returned to Instagram Stories to promote a new charitable initiative run by her very own charity, the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation.

The initiative has been labelled ‘#ChasingZero and aims to bring an end to wildlife poaching.

Princess Charlene was rushed to hospital last Wednesday with the palace confirming that the princess was in a “stable” condition after “suddenly collapsing”.

The statement, which was released on Friday, read: “On the evening of September 1, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco was taken to hospital after fainting due to complications from a serious ORL infection.

“Her Highness is closely monitored by Her medical team who said that Her condition was not worrying.”

Despite the scare, it was not long before the Princess was able to go home to see her family.

Her husband, Prince Albert, 63, spoke with PEOPLE magazine on Thursday and said: “She’s ready to come home.”

On the same day, Princess Charlene was discharged and was able to return to her lodge where she had been staying at the time.

Charlene has been staying in South Africa since May after experiencing an ear-nose-throat (ENT) infection.

But the Princess’s most recent Instagram Stories post has shown that she is still continuing to promote charitable initiatives.

Her post includes two striking photos as well as a link to her charity’s website with #ChasingZero.

Users who click the link are shown an emotive statement from the charity, as well as outlining an exciting competition that offers an enticing prize.

The second image shows Charlene pointing and staring down the camera with her sharp blue eyes.

She first shared the picture last month on Instagram.

The post was accompanied by a personal message from the royal which read: “If we don’t do something to save our rhinos and endangered animals soon, it will be too late.

“With our #chasingzero initiative, we can stop the atrocity of wildlife poaching and educate people about conservation and preservation.

“Your support and contributions make an enormous difference.”
