Princess Eugenie’s Frogmore situation discussed by experts
Eugenie and Mr Brooksbank were loaned the Windsor property by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who are now living in the US. The couple, who are expecting their first child early this year, are understood to have moved into the home in mid-November but left just six weeks later.
Speaking on The HeirPod podcast, royal correspondent Maggie Rulli described the move as “mysterious”.
She said: “We saw something in the news a few weeks ago about how Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank had moved into Frogmore Cottage.
“Harry and Meghan had opened the doors to the home to the couple and then mysteriously there was a report that said they had moved out.
“And no one really knew exactly where they were.”

Royal author Omid Scobie said Eugenie and Mr Brooksbank stayed at Royal Lodge with her parents Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew for Christmas.
He added: “So I imagine that’s probably where they will remain up until much later in the year.”
It is not known why Eugenie and Mr Brooksbank quit Frogmore Cottage.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have bought an £11 million mansion in California, were said to be “delighted” to “open up their home” to Eugenie and Mr Brooksbank.
Speaking in December after Eugenie and Mr Brooksbank had left, a source told the Sun: “It is empty again.
“Why does no one want to live in Frogmore Cottage? What is wrong with the place?”
The Sussexes spent £2.4 million of taxpayers’ money on renovating the property.
Meghan and Harry, who have signed deals with Netflix as they launch new careers in America, have since repaid the huge sum.
