Princess Eugenie baby: Interest ‘relatively small’ says Fitzwilliams
Princess Eugenie is “certainly not one” of the Royal Family members where interest is “concentrated”, a royal commentator has claimed. Therefore it is likely that there won’t be “anything remotely like the same interest” in her first child than there was for Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. Expert Richard Fitzwilliams spoke to Express.co.uk about whether there would be a lot of fanfare surrounding the latest royal baby.
He said: “Will there be anything remotely like the same interest, absolutely not.
“It’s not just because of the pandemic.
“She is not a senior working royal.
“She and Beatrice do occasional royal duties and events.”

Mr Fitzwilliams continued: “The level of interest will be relatively small though.
“Obviously it’s a matter for a certain amount of rejoicing.
“But the interest, when it comes to royal matters, concentrates on a certain number of individuals.
“Beatrice and Eugenie are certainly not one of them.”
Princess Eugenie’s baby name odds discussed by expert
Last September, Princess Eugenie revealed that she and her husband Jack Brooksbank were expecting their first child in “early 2021″.
The Queen’s granddaughter is now expected to give birth perhaps as soon as next month.
With the due date fast approaching, there thoughts have turned to what name the new royal baby could be landed with.

Betway’s Chad Yeomans gave some insight into the odds regarding gender and possible names.
He said: “We are set to welcome a new royal baby in February and the gender has remained a tight lipped secret to the public and our traders who have both boy and girl at Evens.
“While it has been nearly two years since the arrival of royal baby Archie who broke away from the traditional names, the princess could pay homage to her mother with the name Sarah priced at 8/1.
“For a boy, a nod to the legendary King Arthur could be making a royal reappearance at 14/1, yet a tribute to the next heir seems unlikely as Charles is a massive 50/1 shot!”
The next most expected names are Alice for a girl (at 10/1) and Henry for a boy (20/1).
