Public erupts into applause as Queen’s coffin driven to Westminster

The public applauded Her Majesty as her coffin was passing by the crowd of people cheering on the late Monarch as they witnessed her final journey through the streets of London.

The Queen’s coffin, carried on a gun carriage of the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, was on the Horse Guards Parade when members of the public erupted in applause.

To the sound of minute guns, the carriage carried the Queen from Buckingham Palace’s Bow Room to Westminster Hall, passing by St James’ Park, The Mall, Horse Guards Parade and Whitehall.
