Queen does second meeting in two days after spraining her back

The Queen has been seen for the second time since she sprained her back.

Her Majesty carried out a virtual audience from Windsor Castle today with Vietnamese ambassador Nguyen Hoang Long, who was at Buckingham Palace.

It comes after concerns were raised for the monarch’s health as she cancelled a number of appearances over the past month.

Buckingham Palace issued a last-minute statement cancelling her appearance at the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph an hour-and-a-half before the event last weekend.

She also missed the General Synod service and opening session, the annual Festival of Remembrance and cancelled trips to Northern Ireland and Glasgow.

Mr Hoang Long, who was joined by his wife Vu Huong Giang, presented his credentials and the letters of recall of his predecessor.
