Royal expert Russel Myers insisted the Queen has had a very busy royal schedule of late. While speaking on the Lorraine show with host Christine Lampard, Mr Myers emphasised the Queen’s desire to get back to royal working duties. He did note that she was now taking a break in order to be completely healthy for the upcoming Climate Change Conference (COP26).

Mr Myers said: “The Queen is exhausted.

“She is knackered, i’m exhausted just reading what she has been up to.”

The Lorraine show host added: “Even looking ahead, there are so many social gatherings and various work elements in her diary.
