The Queen, 94, stopped Meghan Markle and Prince Harry from using their royal titles in a professional capacity when they announced they would be stepping down as senior members of the Royal Family and becoming financially independent. The couple have since signed a Netflix deal which could see them up to $250million (£190million) under the agreement. But royal expert and former butler Paul Burrell, who was close to Prince Harry’s mother Princess Diana when she gave an explosive tell-all interview to the BBC which rocked the monarchy, has warned the monarch is it “only a matter of time” before the couple give an exclusive Panorama-style interview.
Speaking to ITV’s Lorraine, Mr Burrell said: “I think they are two different women of different times.
“Meghan is of now and Diana is of then.
“Meghan is a modern woman with modern ideas and they’re going to do things differently.
“They’re ramping up more because I can see Harry and Meghan going through into Netflix.
“Can you not see Harry and Meghan at home on Netflix? That would be a show to watch.
“It would completely eclipse the Kardashians at home.
“Wouldn’t we all want to tune in watching Harry and Meghan behind closed doors?
“It’s only a matter of time before they give a major interview to someone huge in the United States and do a similar Panorama interview for the world.”
The couple are hoping to pursue careers as producers but royal correspondent Chris Ship has argued Netflix is likely to want Meghan and Harry on screen in some of its programmes.
Speaking on ITV’s Royal rota, Mr Ship said: “I doubt that Netflix would have handed over quite so many millions of pounds to Harry and Meghan had they not agreed to at least be on show in some of its programming that they’re making.”
Producer Lizzie Robinson added: “They do a lot of important work but the draw of Harry and Meghan is themselves.
“People want to hear from them and see them.

“Netflix will want their money’s worth from Harry and Meghan.
“Their pound of flesh.”
Mr Ship added: “Team Sussex have said there is only two shows in the works and no reality TV show in the making yet.”
With the new deal, the Duke of Sussex has paid back the £2.4million of taxpayers’ money used to renovate Frogmore Cottage.
