A one-minute silence in memory of Queen Elizabeth II will occur at 8pm on Sunday, one day before the late monarch’s funeral, the Home Office has announced. The National Moment of Reflection aims to allow people to “reflect on [the Queen’s] life and legacy”.

A statement from the Home Office read: “On Sunday at 8pm, there will be a National Moment of Reflection to mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, with a one-minute silence to reflect on her life and legacy.”
