Zara Tindall: Expert discusses ‘cute’ Twitter post from Mike
Adding to their young family, the couple already have two young daughters – Lena, two, and Mia, six. Speaking on the podcast The Good, The Bad & The Rugby in 2021, Mike said: “It’s been a good week for me, had a little scan last week – third Tindall on its way.”
The announcement was a departure from how their first two pregnancies were announced, with the news coming in official statements from Buckingham Palace.
Speaking more recently to the Times, Mike said: “It was always an interesting question whether we’d go for a third and I think both of us wanted a boy, so hopefully we’ll get one.
“We’re not finding out — I think it’s better that way.
He continued: “And Mia’s such a daddy’s girl, it’s been brilliant. I’ve loved having girls.”

When is Zara Tindall’s baby due?
The 39-year-old has not revealed the due date of her third child, with it being almost unheard of for royals to do so.
However, it is predicted the royal addition will be born around June, given that the news was announced in December.
The newcomer, who will have two older sisters, will be the Queen’s 10th great-grandchild, after Princess Eugenie, who is due to give birth imminently.
The family has clearly been rejoicing with the news, after Zara went public with the news she had suffered two miscarriages after her second child.
In 2018, Zara spoke to The Sunday Times about the ordeal, sharing that “you don’t talk about it because it’s too raw”.
This year is a big year for the royals, with several key milestones to come for the family.
While Princess Eugenie is due to give birth in the coming month or so, there are several key anniversaries taking place.

Prince Philip is due to celebrate his 100th birthday in June, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary in April.
Prince Harry is also rumoured to be landing back on British soil for some of the events.
While Zara doesn’t bear a royal title, the Tindalls remain tightly linked to the Royal Family – something which has “its benefits and it has its negatives”, according to Mike.
He said: “You think about what you do and you have to be aware of it but it doesn’t necessarily dictate.
“Zara and I have always been good at getting on with what’s right for us.”
