The Duke of Sussex’s aides are drawing plans for him to be by the Queen’s side at her Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the Mirror has revealed. This comes after Her Majesty invited him and his wife Meghan Markle to appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. He also wishes for his two young children – Archie, two, and Lilibet, 10 months – to meet his grandmother and is “desperate” to arrange a family reunion soon. One source said he is particularly “desperate” for Lilibet to meet her great-grandmother. They continued: “Harry is certainly in favour of going, so naturally plans are being put in place for him to make the trip should he want to confirm. Previously it [security] was a red line for Harry but there might be a resolution in the offering. Harry loves seeing his grandmother and wants to spend time with her and his family.”
