A royal source claimed that the couple paid for their own flights when they visited England at Easter. They told the Daily Mail that financial independence “has now been achieved”, describing it as a “great credit to them”. Meghan and Harry paid a surprise visit to the UK in April ahead of their trip to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games. They met with the Queen at Windsor Castle before heading to the Hague. This was their first return trip to the UK as a couple since stepping back from royal duties in March 2020.

Lilibet’s first meeting with Charles was ‘very emotional’ during ‘wonderful’ reunion
Prince Charles reportedly had a “very emotional” first meeting with his granddaughter Lilibet when the Sussexes came to the UK for the Platinum Jubilee, reports state.
It was the first time Charles and Camilla had met his youngest grandchild and they were said to be “absolutely thrilled” to see the whole family.
A royal source told The Mirror: “He hadn’t met Lili, his granddaughter, and so to meet her was very emotional, a very, very wonderful thing.”
