Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge will have all spotlights on her this week as she prepares to mark her 40th birthday on January 9. The Duchess of Cambridge is expected to celebrate with her husband Prince William and their three children after plans of a reported party had to be shelved because of the ongoing pandemic. GB News presenter Isabel Webster noted she will share a special milestone with Kate this year as she praised the royal for her “perfect” temperament.

Discussing the upcoming birthday, Ms Webster’s co-host Eamonn Holmes said: “I was just looking at pictures of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge.

“And she’s the same age as you.”

The broadcaster said: “Yeah, big year for us. Both turning four-o.

“Although the Metro yesterday reported I was turning 50, which is a bit harsh.”

Speaking on his Youtube channel Neil Sean’s Daily News Headlines, Mr Sean said: “According to good sources the problem that Catherine has is that Prince William wanted to organise a big bash.

“The bigger problem is this, it’s two-fold.

“Prince William had planned the initial stages of a big party, coming up next year, but the problem of ongoing measures, lockdowns, it’s very difficult to organise anything.”

He continued: “We recently saw Her Majesty the Queen plan all of Christmas at Sandringham.

“Can you imagine? She’s spent ages wrapping presents putting them around the tree, getting the food in.

“Lots of preparation go into these things and then they’re cancelled at the last minute.

“Of course, the bigger problem is Prince William can’t really organise that type of party, but it might come as a blessing.”

Kate celebrated her 39th birthday with just her close family as well as Boris Johnson declared a new lockdown shortly after the Christmas holidays.
