GB News host Nigel Farage slammed Prince Charles after he declared that he “understands the frustration” of the protesters as they block Britain’s motorways and major roads into London and the southeast. Insulate Britain have been causing severe disruption for over two weeks, with activists rushing in front of traffic and blocking drivers by sitting on the road and refusing to move. The Prince of Wales expressed his sympathy for the protesters but said the actions need to be taken in other ways.

The Prince of Wales said that the actions of Insulate Britain and Extinction Rebellion “isn’t helpful, I don’t think, to do it in a way that alienates people”.

But he added: “I totally understand the frustration, the difficulty is how do you direct that frustration in a way that is more constructive rather than destructive.”

But Mr Farage erupted at the comments from the future King, slamming: “It is hard to believe that this is what he said!

“He actually said that about Insulate Britain that blocking Britain’s motorways! He understands why they feel the way they feel!”

Mr Farage went on to slam the Prince of Wales for his efforts in raising awareness of the polar ice caps melting along with various other climate change initiatives the future King has been involved in.

While in a furious conclusion, the GB News host went on to advise Prince Charles to avoid getting involved in politics given the Royal Family are “not enjoying the kind of reputation that it needs to enjoy” at the moment.

He slammed: “A piece of advice, Charles: stay out, please, of active politics. Maybe just go quiet for a bit!”

The comments from Prince Charles come as Insulate Britain launched the twelfth day of demonstration in four weeks on Friday.
