Guests excited for the Grand National were battling to keep their outfits dry under the pouring rain as they attended Ladies’ Day.
Glamorous visitors were having to hold on to their hats as they struggled against rain lasting all day at Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool, today.
Many were also having to protect their outfits and hair to stop the terrible weather from ruining their stylish looks.
On Thursday women battled with bad wind, with some dresses being blown completely up into their faces.
Storm Noa swept across the UK this week causing chaos in its wake, with gusts of wind reaching up to 96mph.
Yellow weather warnings were put in place throughout the UK, with one woman being swept out to sea whilst walking on Brighton Pier.
At Blackpool Pleasure Beach, customers on the Big One roller coaster had to be escorted down after the ride was stopped because of the adverse weather.
Although today’s wind speeds are much more average, racegoers are still having to contend with the wet weather.
