Surge testing will begin in Nuneaton, according to NHS Test and Trace. The service announced it would conduct new sequencing in the area, following identification of the B1617.2 variant. Test and Trace added it would also deploy “enhanced contact tracing” where cases emerge.
Three wards in Nuneaton will be subject to the new test and tracing rules.
