A ‘Brexit pubs guarantee’ will see the duty on draught products in pubs up to
11p lower than the duty in supermarkets from August, the Chancellor said.
The move comes alongside a raft of planned changes to alcohol duty tax which are already set to come into effect on August 1.
‘British ale may be warm, but the duty on a pint is frozen,’ the Chancellor said in Parliament
