Two men and a woman suspected to be spies for Russia in Britain have been arrested and charged today, it has been reported.
The defendants are all Bulgarian nationals accused to be working for the Russian security services, the BBC said.
The trio were held in February under the Official Secrets Act by counter-terrorism detectives at London’s Metropolitan Police, which has a policing responsibility for espionage, the report added.
Their names are Orlin Roussev, 45, of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, Biser Dzhambazov, 41, of Harrow, north-west London, and Katrin Ivanova, 31, of the same address.
