Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have gone viral on TikTok – in a resurfaced clip of the Duke receiving a text from brother Prince William. The Duke, 38, appears to be shaken by the surprise message, which prompts Meghan, 41, to end a phone call and give him a hug.

The sweet interaction was captured inside the couple’s California mansion and shown in episode six of the Netflix series, Harry & Meghan.

The Duchess was on speaker phone to her friend Tyler Perry when Harry showed his phone screen, displaying a message not visible on camera.

Meghan says: “What am I looking at?”, before reading the message from Prince William and saying: “Wow.”

She then returned to her phone call and explained to her friend: “H just got a text from his brother.”

In the clip, Harry appears to have a very emotional reaction to the message, telling his wife: “I wish I knew what to do.”

The Duchess then says: “I know. Let’s take a breather. Get some air and then decide.”

The pair then embrace as they process the contents of the message, which have since remained private.

Earlier this week, the clip resurfaced on TikTok after being shared by user @thetvandmoviequeen, causing royal fans to gush over the heartwarming interaction.

A caption over the video reads: “Meghan Markle giving H a big hug after he received the harsh text from his brother Prince William shows her love for her man.”

The footage, which has gone viral and received over one million views, resurfaced on the popular video-sharing platform four months after the couple’s Netflix series dropped.

Royal fans were quick to share their admiration for the California-based royals, with one writing: “They’re really in love with each other.”

Another said: “They are strong together.”

But some were quick to question why there appeared to be a camera crew capturing the moment, with one writing: “And the camera crew just happened to be there in this very private moment.”

The full clip, shown in the series, documents the dramatic moments after the late Queen Elizabeth II released her infamous “recollections may vary” statement in response to the couple’s bombshell Oprah interview in 2021.

Meghan can be heard reading the statement in full to Tyler, which said: “The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.

“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.”
