Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice share an incredibly close bond, often seen praising one another on social media. This year the sisters became mothers for the first time, with Princess Eugenie’s baby boy August Philip Hawke Brooksbank born on February 9, and Princess Beatrice’s daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi born on September 18.

Now this weekend could see the sisters celebrate a sweet milestone with their young children.

Sunday, October 31 is Halloween – and already social media has been awash with celebrations, spooky food ideas and costumes.

While they may not share it on social media, both Beatrice and Eugene could take the opportunity to dress up their youngsters for their first Halloween.

Whether spooky or sweet, celebrities often dress up their children for Halloween – much to the delight of their fans.

The York sisters may even get together and dress the tots in matching costumes – but we may have to wait for Halloween itself to know for sure.

Princess Beatrice is no stranger to dressing up for Halloween, having famously donned a unicorn outfit, cat mask and even a pirate for previous October 31 celebrations.

Princess Eugenie’s husband Jack Brooksbank is also a fan of dressing up, with one picture showing him dressed in a ‘hippie’ costume for the 2019 Casamigos Halloween Party.

Halloween is also celebrated by the Cambridges, with Kate, Duchess of Cambridge spotted costume shopping for her brood a couple of years ago.

Shoppers were shocked when in the run-up to Halloween 2019 Kate was spotted browsing the festive outfits in the Hardwick branch of Sainsbury’s in King’s Lynn.

She was accompanied by Prince George and Princess Charlotte during their October half-term.

Kathy Whittaker, who was in the shop, told The Mirror at the time: “She was with Charlotte and George looking at Halloween outfits but her bodyguard was kind of watching people with phones and telling them no pictures.

“I managed to get the photo as she was at the self-service check out.

“I didn’t see what she actually bought. The lady that told me she was there had children with her and she said Kate was asking her children what they were going to be for Halloween.

“I think she bought some Halloween bits for her kids but I don’t know what.”

Kate had also been papped in various Halloween costumes in her younger years – including a witch and a Day-Glo roller-skater.

Days of dress-up may be behind Kate and Prince William, but with three young children Halloween will definitely be action-packed.

No doubt Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six and Prince Louis, three, are looking forward to donning their Halloween finest and enjoying some sweets.
