William and Kate heading to France for Rugby World Cup after snubbing Lionesses

The Prince and Princess of Wales will cheer on England and Wales’s rugby teams in person this weekend as they compete against other nations in the World Cup group stages this weekend.

The senior royals will arrive in France in time for Princess Kate, who is the patron of England Rugby, to see England vs Argentina at the Stade de Marseille this Saturday, September 9.

Kensington Palace has confirmed that Prince William, as the Patron of Welsh Rugby Union, will attend Wales vs Fiji at the Stade de Bordeaux the following day.
