Prince William and the Princess of Wales have decorated their children’s nursery in the most adorable theme with characters from the most popular children’s books taking over the room. Parents to three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, the royal couple have always been opting for innovative ways while taking care of their needs.

In September 2022, the royal couple moved out of their London home Apartment 1A in Kensington Palace, to the countryside at Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Home Park estate in Berkshire.

A glimpse of the room inside the new home was seen in a rare video that surfaced online.

In 2013, before the birth of their eldest son, Prince George, the couple reportedly used Beatrix Potter’s much-loved children’s books for inspiration while decorating the nursery.

The couple opted for neutral colours that would go well with both baby girls and boys.

They are said to have adorned the room with Peter Rabbit pieces, along with some of the author’s other popular characters, including Jemima Puddle-Duck and Mrs Tiggy-Winkle.

It is believed that the couple chose the same design company that designed nurseries for William, his brother Harry and their cousins Beatrice and Eugenie – Dragons of Walton Street in Knightsbridge.

The designer company reportedly specialises in handmade furniture painted with characters from Beatrix Potter.

The Prince and Princess are believed to have moved to be closer to Queen Elizabeth II, who sadly passed away the same month as their relocation, and to give their children more privacy.

George’s formal education began in 2016 at Westacre Montessori School Nursery, near the family’s Norfolk home, Anmer Hall.

By the time Charlotte started nursery in 2018, William and Kate had relocated to Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace in London, and so the Princess was enrolled at Willcocks Nursery School.

George continued the next stage of his education at Thomas’s school in Battersea in 2017

Princess Charlotte joined him in 2019.

Louis followed in his sister’s footsteps and began attending Willcocks Nursery in 2021.

However, as he was ready to move up to the reception class, William and Kate moved their young family to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.
