Prince William has teased royal fans about an exciting new project with an announcement due tomorrow. The Duke of Cambridge took to his Kensington Palace Twitter to post a snap with football players Harry Kane and Declan Rice.

William shared the eyes emoji and wrote: “Coming tomorrow.”

The snap shows the future King chatting to England football stars Kane and Rice as they are filmed on camera.

William’s Twitter post sparked an excited reaction from royal fans.

One William and Kate fan account, @lovefamilywales, commented: “Oh what is this?? I love your surprises so I’m definitely excited for tomorrow.”

Another with the handle @RoyallyBlunt posted a series of dancing emojis and added: “We can’t wait!”

A third, @Canellelabelle, said: “I can’t with the surprises!! Marking my calendar! wait.. what time?”

Another with the handle @INathaniels commented: “Awaiting tomorrow. Packs of surprises. Counting the hours.”

A fifth, @kates_rangers, added: “So exciting!!”

Another, @ChicDelights8, said: “Looking forward to this surprise.”

And one more with the handle @royalimposters commented: “Ohhhhhhh interesting! Can’t wait to see what this is!”

Meanwhile, football media business COPA90 tweeted: “A Royal episode of Game of Fives, coming tomorrow.”

William, who is president of the Football Association, has previously used football to raise awareness of mental health.

In 2020 he took part in BBC documentary Football, Prince William and Our Mental Health to encourage men to open up.

It comes as the Prince and Princess of Wales have long campaigned on the issue of mental health.

They recently took part in a specially recorded show for BBC Radio One’s Newsbeat for World Mental Health Day.

William and Kate led a discussion with Newsbeat presenter Pria Rai and a host of advocates and experts.

The heir to the throne said: “A lot of the work we’ve done on mental health and listening to lots of people talk about it, everyone likes a toolbox – particularly men. A toolbox is quite a useful analogy to kind of use.

“A lot of people don’t realise what they need until it actually comes along.

“You can be living one life one minute and something massively changes and you realise you don’t necessarily have the tools or the experience to be able to tackle that.”
