The elegant royal looked sombre in an understated day dress as she paid her respects to her grandfather who passed away at Windsor Castle aged 99. Husband Mike was pictured driving the couple into Windsor Castle just before 2pm this afternoon. The ceremony for Prince Philip will start at 3pm.

It comes after Zara, 39, paid a touching tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh by naming her son after him.

She and Mike, 42, named their baby boy Lucas Philip Tindall in honour of the Duke, as well as Mike’s own father Philip Tindall.

The former rugby player and his wife are parents to three children, Mia, 7, Lena, 2 and Lucas, who was born last month.

Other members of the Royal Family have also begun to arrive at Windsor.

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, arrived together shortly after 1pm, followed by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
