Disney U.S. Employees Can Begin Phased Return To Offices This Summer

EXCLUSIVE: We hear on good authority that Disney’s stateside employees can begin returning to their offices after July 4.

It’s just another great sign that Covid is quelling, and the entertainment industry is beginning to readjust to some normalcy. We told you last week that WarnerMedia employees were provided notification that they could return in early September.

Disney employees were notified this morning via an internal company video that was emailed out.

I understand it is a phased return in how the Disney staff will eventually come back to the office.

Disney provided no comment when reached about their upcoming return to office policy.

WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook down: Thousands of users report services out of action tonight

WHATSAPP, Instagram and Facebook are down – leaving thousands of users unable to use the apps. 

According to DownDetector, over 20,000 Instagram users and 9,000 WhatsApp users reported an outage just after 5.20pm. 


On Instagram, around 77 per cent of users reported not being able to access their newsfeed. 

And on WhatsApp, 71 per cent of users struggled to get a connection while 26 per cent were unable to send or receive messages.  

Meanwhile, 5,000 Facebook users reported an outage at 5.32pm.

All three apps are owned by the Facebook company – and it is unclear what has caused the outage.

 

White House says Biden doing fine after stumbling while boarding Air Force One

ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE (REUTERS) – US President Joe Biden is doing fine after stumbling on the steps as he climbed aboard Air Force One on Friday (March 19), White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters.

She suggested high winds at Joint Base Andrews near Washington may have been a factor.

“It’s very windy outside,”said Jean-Pierre when asked about his stumbling.

“He is doing 100 pe rcent fine.”
