The Royal Family Accidentally Tweeted and Deleted the Most Random Thing

Today in amusing royal news, the Queen’s official Twitter account hopped online yesterday and accidentally tweeted the word “thanks.” Like, just thanks. Nothing else. No follow-up. No explanation.

The tweet was only up for a few minutes before whoever runs the royal family’s Twitter went ahead and deleted it, but as we know: the internet never forgets. The mysterious tweet was immediately screen grabbed by Gert’s Royals, who revealed it was up for a full 6 minutes, and got 1,260 likes and 591 retweets.

Michael Douglas and Christoph Waltz to Star in Cold War limited series

Cold War-era project is centered on the historic 1986 summit

Michael Douglas and Christoph Waltz will star as former president Ronald Reagan and his Soviet counterpart Mikhail Gorbachev, respectively, in a limited series in development at Paramount TV Studios.

The project, which doesn’t have a home, is about the 1986 Reagan-Gorbachev Summit.

Deadline was first to report on the project.

Madonna Gets Her Very First Tattoo

Queen of pop Madonna has revealed that she got her very first tattoo at the age of 62.

Madonna posted pictures on Instagram of herself getting the tattoo with the caption, “Inked for The Very First Time… #family.”

The singer had the initials of her six children, Lourdes, Rocco, David, Mercy, and twins Stella and Estere, tattooed on her wrist in black ink.

Madonna got the tattoo at Shamrock Social Club tattoo studio in Hollywood etched by celebrated tattoo artist East Iz.

Madonna’s last album was Madame X, which dropped last year and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Tim McGraw Jokes Wife Faith Hill Is ‘Trying To Get Rid Of’ Him Before Christmas

Country superstar Tim McGraw joked that his wife Faith Hill might be “trying to get rid of him before Christmas.”

McGraw posted few pictures on Twitter on Tuesday, December 8, showing him placing a star atop the country couple’s huge Christmas tree.

He captioned the post, “A: Santa’s lead flying reindeer B: wife trying to get rid of me before Christmas.”

McGraw and Hill celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary this October. The couple share three daughters together: Gracie, 23, Maggie, 22, and Audrey, 19.

The San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus is celebrating the holiday season in spite of COVID, we’re told, by streaming their beloved annual holiday concert on Broadway on Demand on Christmas Eve. Guest performers are expected to include Broadway favorite Laura Benanti.

Meanwhile, MTV Documentary Films’ “Gay Chorus Deep South,” which follows the group as they tour the Bible Belt, debuts on Logo, Pop, and Pluto TV on December 20 at 9 p.m. It was recently named one of the top 100 LGBTQ films of all time by Insider.
