Trump to halt US payments to WHO following handling of pandemic and China

Washington: US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he has instructed his administration to at least temporarily halt funding to the World Health Organisation over its handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

Trump, at a White House news conference, said the WHO had "failed in its basic duty and it must be held accountable." He said the group had promoted China's "disinformation" about the virus that likely led to a wider outbreak of the virus than otherwise would have occurred.

Domingo Zapata accepts $3K in caviar as partial payment for painting

Domingo Zapata is swimming in the fishes.

While most of us are struggling to get groceries during lockdown, the NYC-based Spanish artist has been getting weekly shipments from Ikraa caviar worth thousands of dollars. He tells us, “My client paid me in caviar for a piece of art. They purchased a couple kilos and gave it to me in lieu of payment for a small diamond-dust panda painting.”

We’re told the painting was $30,000, with $6,000 paid in the delicacy.

Along with painting during quarantine, Zapata has set up an art contest in Spain for families to win a trip to NYC when it is safe to travel again.
