Electric vehicle startup Rivian adds $2.65 billion investment led by T. Rowe Price

DETROIT (Reuters) – Electric vehicle startup Rivian, which is backed by Amazon and Ford Motor and aims to put an electric pickup and SUV in production this year, said on Tuesday it boosted its war chest further with a $2.65-billion investment round led by T. Rowe Price.

Body found in search for missing dad swept out to sea with his dog

A body has been found in the search for missing grandfather Gareth Jones, who was swept out to sea with his dog while walking in Brighton.

Gareth, 69, was reported missing after he failed to return home from a walk along the water’s edge at Tide Mills on Saturday afternoon.

The body of his cockapoo Connie was also found on Brighton beach, police have said.

With the assist against the Los Angeles Kings, he became the seventh player in franchise history to notch 500 points.

Homicide suspect at large after man dies two days after being shot

A shooting that occurred around 2 a.m. Sunday has taken the life of one man.

The Denver Police Department announced Tuesday that a man shot over the weekend has died from his injuries after two days in the hospital. The incident occurred at Alameda Avenue and Newton Street in the Westwood neighborhood.

Neither the man’s age nor name has been released yet. The case is under investigation for homicide.

There is not a suspect in custody.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
