A young British mum was tied up and murdered by three robbers who broke into her home in Greece.

The 20-year-old was attacked in the Glyka Nera suburb of Athens on Tuesday, May 11.

The criminals made off with money and jewellery after killing their victim in front of her 11-month-old child.

Local police said the woman was born in Greece but had a British passport.

Her husband, a 33-year-old pilot, survived.

The trio also killed the family's dog and left it hanging on the fence.
