A takeaway customer was furious when they checked their doorbell cam and saw the delivery driver steal the food they had ordered and paid for.
Not only that, the dishonest driver took a photo as "proof" of delivery before picking it back up and running away, Mirror Online reports.
The customer received a notification that the food had arrived but opened the door to find nothing there, with the mystery solved when they watched the footage.
In the clip, recorded in the US, the driver leaves the bag of food on the doorstep as promised and steps back to take a photograph on their phone.
They are then caught grabbing the bag and retreating back down the driveway with the order – leaving the customer to go hungry.
Unfortunately for the DoorDash worker, her every move was recorded and the video has racked up more than 10 million views after being uploaded to TikTok.
It was shared with the caption: "Did you think cameras didn't exist?? Hope DoorDash fires you."
The footage left other viewers stunned, as one commented to say: "Now I know why it's called DoorDash, they put it on the door and dash with it."
A second said: "I think she took the dash part too literal."
Someone else joked: "That food must've smelled real good. She pulled up and said 'nah b, this me'."
"As a delivery driver we don't claim her," another fumed.
A DoorDash spokeswoman said: "We have zero tolerance for such inappropriate behaviour, and are actively working to identify the Dasher and will immediately deactivate from the platform.
"We sincerely regret that this incident fell short of the experience we strive to give our customers every day, and are reaching out to this customer to support."
