Harry ‘should apologise’ to William as ‘root cause of feud’, fans fume

Prince Harry "has a lot of apologising to do" to Prince William if he wants to fix their feud as he is the "root cause" of it, royal fans have fumed.

The two brothers have allegedly been caught in a row for several years which is believed to have began from William's concerns for Harry's quickly developing relationship with Meghan Markle.

Prince William is understood to have suggested his little brother to "slow it down" and added that it was crucial he made the "right choice" in his future partner, Express reported.

Harry and Meghan carried out a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in March last year after they stepped back from royal duties in 2020.

The couple made a variety of explosive claims, including Harry saying that William and Prince Charles were "trapped" in the royal family.

He said: “My father and my brother, they are trapped. They don’t get to leave. And I have huge compassion for that.”

His comments are believed to have made the rift between him and William even bigger.

Now, as Harry could attend the Queen's Jubilee celebrations, royal fans have called for the Duke to apologise to William in order to fix the feud.

One fan wrote online: "Harry has got a lot of apologising to do, from the Queen down."

Another added: "Harry should be making all the moves here."

Fans of Prince William have taken to his defence, claiming that he has "nothing to apologise for".

"Why should William be the one to heal the rift, he didn't start the feud," said one commenter.

A second wrote: "William has nothing to apologise for, nor does he have to fix any rifts.”

Other fans were sceptical about anything getting resolved at all.

One commenter bleakly stated: "The rift will never be healed.”

Another said: “Sadly, there is no point in William trying to fix things with Harry at this time. I hope things changes (sic) one day.”

Representatives for Harry and William have been contacted for comment.
