Edward Zuckerberg
Edward Zuckerberg is Mark's father.
He is a retired dentist, having owned his own dental practice in New York between 1981 and 2013.
He graduated from New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry in 1978.

Arielle Zuckerberg
Arielle is one of Mark Zuckerberg's three sisters, along with Randi and Donna.
Arielle worked for Coatue, an investment management company, from 2018 to 2022.
She left this role to become a partner in Long Journey Ventures, an investing company.
She studied at Claremont McKenna College between 2007 and 2011.
Donna Zuckerberg
Donna is an author, born in 1987.
She earned a degree at the University of Chicago and achieved a PhD in Classics at Princeton University in 2014.
Donna lives in Silicon Valley with her two children.
She is married to Harry Schmidt, a product strategist at Wildfire, a social marketing set-up owned by Google since 2012.
She has previously spoken out against social media groups like Facebook, as she said a toxic culture and has elevated misogynistic views.
Donna released the book Not All Dead White Men in 2018, which covered misogyny on the internet.
Randi Zuckerberg
Randi was born on February 28, 1982, in New York.
She achieved a degree in psychology at Harvard University.
She worked with her brother at Facebook from 2004 to 2011, when she resigned to start her own social media firm, named Zuckerberg media.
Her roles at Facebook included being the director of market development and a spokesperson.
Since leaving, she has produced shows and digital content for a number of different companies.
She has been married to Brent Tworetzky since 2008, and together they have two children.
Towretsky works as vice president of product growth at Peleton Interactive.
Priscilla Chan
Priscilla is a former paediatrician, born in Massachusetts on February 24, 1989.
She previously worked at San Francisco General Hospital.
Priscilla founded the Chan Zuckerberg foundation with her husband in 2015, a non profit organization focused on providing a better outlook for other people.
She is the wife of Mark Zuckerberg, and together they have three children named Maxima, August and Aurelia.
She met Mark whilst also attending Harvard University in 2003.
She eventually left Harvard in 2007 with a degree in biology.
She continued her education until 2015, where she completed her paediatric residency.
The pair tied the knot on May 19, 2012.
Maxima Zuckerberg
Maxima was born on December 1, 2015.
She is the eldest child of Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan.
She was born after years of trying for a baby, which included three miscarriages.
August Zuckerberg
On August 28, 2017, Mark and Priscilla welcomed their second child August into the world.
The name August originates from the Latin name Augustus, which signifies reverence or holding someone in high regard.
Aurelia Zuckerberg
Aurelia was born on March 24, 2023.
