Meghan Markle and Harry ‘don’t want war with world forever’, source claims

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could be looking to end the royal rift as soon as possible, an source has claimed.

The claim comes after the release of Tom Bower's explosive book about the couple called Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors.

The book makes a number of allegations about the couple and the alleged history of the Duchess of Sussex in particular.

But now, according to a source speaking to Heatworld, it appears that the couple are unhappy about the book, and that they want to end the royal rift – and with the rest of the world.

The source said: “She (Meghan) feels the book is very nasty and uncalled for. It’s made her all the more determined to stand up for herself, but equally this is a sharp reminder that they have a colossal amount of repair work to do if this narrative is ever going to go away.

“For all their bravado and stubbornness, Meghan and Harry don’t want to be at war with the world forever and there’s a lot that hasn’t come out yet.

“This book is pretty savage, but the worry is that it’s just the tip of the iceberg.”

No further details on exactly what other secrets there are to come out were given, however.

Harry recently spoke to the UN General Assembly in New York and warned of a “global assault on democracy and freedom” as he addressed the legacy of Nelson Mandela.

Harry told of the dangers of climate change, the coronavirus pandemic, “weaponising lies and disinformation”, the war in Ukraine and abortion laws in the US.

The duke, who was joined by his wife, Meghan, also spoke about his mother Diana, the Princess of Wales’ meeting with the former South African leader in March 1997, and how he “sought solace” in Africa following her death.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's representatives have been contacted for comment.
