Moment drug dealer crashes into lake with screaming children in car

Video shows a drug dealer dad being chased by police crashed his car into a lake with his two young children in the backseat.

Bystanders in Pasco County, Florida, watched on as a Jonathan Mark DeLoach, plunged his car into a lake during a high-speed police chase.

Dashcam footage shows DeLoach’s gold sedan turning off the highway and speeding through suburban streets before he realises he will not be able to avoid capture.

He then accelerates into a lake located in the middle of a housing estate, and the vehicle lands in the water and starts to sink.

Several Good Samaritans then jump in the water to rescue two screaming children in the backseat of the car.

One eyewitness can be heard screaming: "There's a baby in the back!

"Two babies! F**king idiots! You're sick!"

A woman also managed to escape the vehicle, while one man made sure DeLoach wouldn’t free the crime scene.

Crying kids were pulled from the vehicle and other witnesses came to their aid to make sure they hadn’t been hurt.

Police quickly arrived on scene and discovered a bag of crystal meth floating in the lake, and DeLoach is understood to be a known drug dealer.

The 30-year-old was arrested on several charges, including child abuse, possession of methamphetamine, driving with a suspended license, and reckless driving.

DeLoach was placed in handcuffs and held in custody, along with the passenger of the vehicle.
