Predator with foot fetish preyed on victims starting when he was just 14

A sick pervert with a foot fetish prayed on dozens of young victims starting when he was only 14 years old.

The man, from Singapore, who has not been named, is believed to have committed sexual offences against at least 28 victims, over a seven-year period between 2013 and 2020.

It is understood that the predator molested younger children in the area where he lives, including his schoolmates and national service bunkmates.

He is said to have licked the bare feet of several boys he met online or met by chance, as well as taking photographs of his victims’ hands and feet.

According to AsiaOne, in some cases, he falsely claimed to be an ambassador for a camera brand to entice his victims with the promise of prizes or collaborations.

Yesterday (August 7), the 24-year-old offender pleaded guilty in the High Court to 10 charges.

Including two for sexual penetration of a minor, five for aggravated outrage of modesty and three for outrage of modesty.

An additional 33 charges will be presented to the court when he is sentenced on August 14.

According to the publication, the offender can’t be named as he was under the age of 18 at the time of some of the offences.

The accused was arrested on March 12, 2020, and released on police bail but months later was arrested again.

He was re-arrested on August 19, 2020, and released on police bail. And again on October 15, 2020, when a young girl came forward about the abuse she suffered in 2013.

A psychiatric assessment by the Institute of Mental Health found that he had a fetish for the hands and feet of 13 and 14-year-old boys.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Chong Kee En sought 15 to 20 years in jail and at least six strokes of the cane.

He argued that the accused continued to re-offend despite various forms of intervention and while on police bail.

Defence counsel Josiah Zee asked for 13 to 15 years in jail and not more than six strokes of the cane.
