A royal expert has claimed that Prince Charles and Prince William "want to draw a line under Harry and Meghan" and get on with looking after the monarchy.
According to Russell Myers they are both tired from the saga and feel it has been a "distraction" from royal duties.
Prince William, 38, and Prince of Wales, 72, are reportedly of the opinion that Prince Harry and Meghan should be left to "sort things out on their own".
Speaking to talkRADIO the expert said: "The rest of the Royal Family are very, very united in trying to get back to business.
"But no one has done the real business of monarchy, which is getting out, being among the people and shining a light on different charities, and travelling the world and the Commonwealth.
"It's part of getting Britain back on its feet. As far as Harry and Meghan are concerned, I think they will be left to try and sort things out on their own."
The new insight comes a little over a week since the MailOnline reported that Russell Myers claimed Prince Harry was taken aback by the "very, very cold reception" he received from the Royal Family and he may chose to swerve visiting the UK for the unveiling of his mother's, Princess Diana, memorial statue.

"'I don't think we will realise the fallout of that Oprah Winfrey interview for some time," Myers said. "Maybe once we get back to a bit of normality, the rest of the family will start thinking about that a bit more carefully. It might not be good news for Harry."
Meanwhile Prince Harry made his first public appearance since arriving back in the US at Global Citizen’s Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite the World, where he received a standing ovation.
Legions of fans were waiting to fight Meghan's corner after some people began to question why she had not attended.
One fan said: "Meghan is heavily pregnant with Harry’s baby.
"Prince Harry went to a charity event calling for compassion – something that's foreign to you and doesn't fit in with your innate racism."
A second person added: "If Meghan Markle is not here that is *not* weird as she is very pregnant."
