Shelter-in-place order issued around Lakeside after 17-year-old stabs guard – The Denver Post

The area around 5801 W. 44th Ave. in the town of Lakeside is under a shelter-in-place order after a 17-year-old stabbed a guard at a dentist office, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

Juan Ocegueda, a juvenile escapee from Platte Valley Youth Services Center, was identified as the alleged perpetrator in a tweet sent around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and tan pants, with dark, curly hair.

The guard’s condition is unknown, reports Jefferson County’s Sheriff’s Office, noting a heavy police presence in the area.

Call 911 if Ocegueda is seen.
