CA'SHAWN 'Cookie' Sims is an LA-based influencer who has been missing for over a month.
Her friends and loved ones have expressed their concern about Sim's disappearance.
Who is Ca'Shawn 'Cookie' Sims and when did she go missing?
Sims, 30, is a fitness trainer and social media influencer. She boasts more than 215,000 followers on Instagram, where she provides fitness tips and sells plans.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that she was officially missing. She was last seen on September 8, 2021 in Duarte, a city in LA's San Gabriel Valley.
The police have described Sims as 5ft 1in, black shoulder length hair and brown eyes.
She has a tattoo on her left collarbone that reads "It's found in the soul," as well as one on her back, and the Spanish word for Earth on her forearm.
Other notable tattoos includes an image of an elephant, the phrase "As sisters we stand together," and the definition of the word "serenity."
What did Ca'Shawn Sims' family and friends say about her disappearance?
Sims' sister Ca'Rynn "Cee" Sims shared an Instagram post claiming that her sibling "abandoning" her home and dog was out of character.
She shared that her sister lived in Duarte and provided no indication as to where she may have gone.
"Our extended family (my grandad, aunts and cousins) cannot reach her alike with my middle sister, mom and dad. I never thought there'd come a day of me posting a missing flyer for my sister," she wrote.
"We want her covered in prayers, God's grace, and to know that she is whole, well and alive," her message read.
Sims' other sister Chris'tol said in another Instagram post that although their sibling was an "independent" person who "enjoyed her solitude," that it was concerning she had not been in touch with her family.
"As we've recently started living in separate places, I do not have day-to-day access to her," she shared. "I'm trying to make sure she's okay, and will exhaust every option."
Actress KeKe Palmer took to social media to share Sim's missing information. Shocked, she claimed she wanted to use her platform to draw attention to the case as Sims' family and friends were worried about her.
Sims' Instagram comments on her page @cookieeedough are flooded with people wishing her safe return.
"Please God ..I pray she is found and okay…" one user wrote.
"Praying for her family," another said.
One Instagram user alleged that Sims' had trouble with her family, and that she might have been pregnant at the time of her disappearance.
"She literally did a YouTube video three weeks ago talking about horrible abuse from her family and said that 'if something happens to me you know why' THEY DID IT. They concern they are showing is FAKE. They abused her while she was pregnant."
Those with information regarding Ca'Shawn's whereabouts are urged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Missing Persons Unit at (323) 890-5500, or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS (8477).
